which is bigger? arsenio’s shoulderpads or that cellphone?

any child of the late 80′s early 90′s will tell you how fresh the arsenio hall show was. nobody was really checking for his interviews, or the “dog pound” joke for the millionth time. people certainly weren’t checking for the corny flat top fade (looking like steve harvey). the arsenio hall show was great because he consistently booked hip hop artists as his musical guests. in those days no national television show was giving this much shine to rappers – so if you were a fan of the music arsenio was a must watch on a lot of nights.

after my rap video post a few days ago i’ve been on the lookout for some interesting or unique clips. i suppose i’ll get around to making another article like that, but this video couldn’t really wait. check out the BANANAS posse cut of rappers showing love for arsenio hall. we need this sort of thing on television again (dave chappelle tried to hook it up, but we all know how that ended up).
